About Chirag Chauhan
Founder & Director, Chirag Art Foundation
Chirag Chauhan is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural entrepreneur, and the visionary founder of Chirag Art Foundation—a platform dedicated to healing, awareness, and community-building through the power of visual art.
He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts, having completed his MFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda, one of India’s most prestigious art institutions. His academic foundation is rooted in traditional and contemporary visual practices, which he has expanded into diverse fields with a passion for depth and meaning.
Chirag is a painter, printmaker, filmmaker, and tattoo artist whose work reflects both introspection and social commentary. Beyond the studio, he ventured into multiple businesses in the finance sector—not for profit alone, but to deeply understand human psychology, behavior, and the complex relationship between value, emotion, and economy.
His journey is one of purpose. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he began supporting fellow artists in need, which eventually led to the birth of Chirag Art Foundation. Today, the foundation operates as a certified Section 8 company with 12A accreditation, promoting art awareness, building artist-buyer networks, and offering a healing platform where creativity becomes a tool for growth.
